CitizenNet builds social advertising technology used by Condé Nast brands. Its development teams ran several Amazon EKS clusters across development and production environments.

Over the course of a year, Cloudacio's Kubernetes specialists worked alongside CitizenNet on a series of infrastructure projects. A CI/CD pipeline automated environment deployment, raising developer productivity and shortening time to market for new features. A set of AWS CloudFormation templates automated infrastructure management, making resources easier to scale and removing a frequent source of human error in provisioning.
A detailed analysis of usage patterns produced optimizations that reduced infrastructure costs by 25%. Combined with infrastructure modernization, AWS Savings Plans and Reserved Instances, CitizenNet saved up to $300,000 annually on its AWS bill.
Ongoing support kept the EKS clusters current and secure. Upgrades were performed with minimal downtime, so neither the development teams nor their clients saw an interruption.
